Digital land use plan with integrated landscape planning of the state capital Munich

The land use plan of the state capital Munich (FNP) contains the basic features of urban development and serves the city as a guideline for the spatial distribution of various uses within the urban area. The objectives of landscape planning are integrated into the FNP and represent the requirements for the implementation of open space development and nature conservation. The FNP regulates the distribution of building space and green spaces as well as the distribution of the most important locations for public institutions such as schools, hospitals or sports facilities. As a preparatory planning plan, it is the most important formal planning tool for the long-term management of urban development and at the same time the basis for the preparation of development plans. Section 5 of the Building Code regulates the contents of the land use plan with integrated landscape planning. The land use plan of the state capital Munich has a reference scale of 1:10.000 and therefore cannot be interpreted sharply. Therefore, the data may be viewed in different scales, but only on a scale of 1:10.000. For the generalised representation in large scale ranges (greater 1:10.000), generalised vector data is displayed. As additional information on the land use plan are available for the individual land use plan changes of the state capital Munich, summary declarations (according to §6a BauGB) (since May 2017). The Summary Declaration is an explanation of how environmental concerns and participation outcomes are dealt with in a change procedure. It is not part of the planning procedure, but after the entry into force of the plan work.
