Effects of overexpression of Fzd1 on murine gastric cancer cells

Genetic alterations, such as copy number alterations, are key features of cancer and influence tumor behavior. However, the specific gene alteration involved in fibrotic TME in GC and the molecular mechanisms by which they modulate a fibrotic TME are still not fully understood. We performed transcriptomic analysis murine gastric cancer cells (GAN-KP) overexpressing Frizzled Class Receptor 1 (Fzd1) gene, a putative gene related to tumor fibrosis. We found that the expression of slit homolog 2 was significantly upregulated in Fzd1-overexpressed GAN-KP cells compared to the control.
