Production-Based CO2 Intensity and Consumption-Based CO2 Intensity Belgium (Near real-time)

This dataset contains the production-based CO2 intensity and the consumption-based CO2 intensity for Belgium. The production-based CO2 intensity refers to the amount of carbon dioxide equivalents emitted per unit of generated electricity and is expressed in gCO2eq/kWh. Cross-border flows are not taken into account in the calculation. The consumption-based CO2 intensity refers to the amount of carbon dioxide equivalents emitted per unit of consumed electricity and is expressed in gCO2eq/kWh. Cross-border flows are taken into account in the calculation. In both cases, the lower the CO2 intensity, the less carbon dioxide is emitted for the same amount of electricity. This dataset is refreshed every hour and shows data for the current day.
