Elbow - Exhibition, London, 2015

In August 2015 the C&C Gallery hosted an innovative residency program, Elbow, which transformed the public gallery into a dynamic studio environment to facilitate the production of artworks in response to ideas surrounding the condition of blindness and alternative ways of seeing. Through collaborative making and interdisciplinary workshops, the programme investigated ways of guiding, seeing, doing, and making, and explored how digital technology might change our ‘vision’ and understanding of forms.This item contains photographs of the Elbow exhibition (5 September - 4 October 2015, C&C Gallery, London), as well as a digital artwork by Michael J Colegate that was created in response to Elbow artists and also exhibited at the show.Contributors to the exhibition included: Jenny Dunseath, Ian Dawson, Claude Heath, Louisa Minkin, Nicola Thomas, John Greenwood, Mhairi Vari, Michael Colegate, Dr Andrew Jones, and Dr Marta Diaz-Guardamino.Images courtesy of C&C Gallery and Ian Dawson.
