Weather forecast for HARMONIE-AROME – pressure surfaces

The data contains the latest HARMONIE-AROME weather forecast data produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute for pressure surfaces. The data covers atmospheric quantities on standard pressure surfaces (1000, 925, 850, 700, 500.300 hPa) e.g. temperature, relative humidity, wind direction/speed/horizontal components and geopotential height. The Harmonie-AROME weather model is run four times a day (00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC), each with a prediction length of 66 hours. Harmonie-AROME is a so-called restricted area model with a calculation area covering the Scandinavian region, the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic region. The horizontal lattice spacing used in the model is 2.5 km. The coordinate system used in the calculation of the model is in Lambert’s projection.
