资源简介:
This dataset contains the de-identified analytical data supporting the manuscript entitled “Cardiovascular autonomic modulation beyond rest in young adults with a family history of Parkinson’s disease: associations with physical activity and body composition”. The study investigated cardiovascular autonomic modulation in young adults with and without a family history of Parkinson’s disease, considering physical activity status and body composition. Participants were classified into four groups: control sedentary participants, control physically active participants, sedentary participants with a family history of Parkinson’s disease, and physically active participants with a family history of Parkinson’s disease. The workbook includes the analytical dataset in long format, participant-level summaries, wide-format matrices, derived variables used in the manuscript, variable dictionaries, group legends, notes on missing data, and statistical-analysis documentation. Cardiovascular autonomic modulation was assessed using heart rate variability indices at rest and during an orthostatic challenge. Hemodynamic responses to orthostatic and Stroop mental stress challenges are also included. Body composition variables were obtained by bioelectrical impedance analysis. Participants are identified only by anonymized study codes. No names, contact information, dates of birth, addresses, or other direct identifiers are included. Missing values were not imputed. Each analysis used all valid observations available for the corresponding variable.
