Impact of environmental factors on air microbiome at a southeastern Mediterranean site

Meteorological parameters like temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction and solar radiation affect the concentration and diversity of airborne bacterial communities. Primary objective of this study was to investigate the impact of these parameters and Saharan dust events on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of airborne bacterial communities at a site located in Crete (Greece).
