Supporting data for a forthcoming description of Aegirarchaeum gulielmi gen. nov., sp. nov., an uncultivated Asgard archaeon (family Ca. Thorarchaeaceae) from Baltic Sea sediment, described from a metagenome-assembled genome under the SeqCode. The deposit holds the type genome and predicted proteins, concatenated alignments, the phylogenetic analyses with their logs and model parameters, genome-quality and pairwise identity estimates, functional annotation, read-level validation, reference-database screens, and the scripts that produce every figure and table. Files are embargoed until 2026-09-27, to match the ENA release date for the type genome. Source accessions, assembly statistics, methods and results are given in the associated publication; this record will be updated with the assembly accession on release.
