Digital Archive from Archaeological Monitoring and Recording at Southchurch Hall, Southchurch Hall Gardens, Park Lane, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, November 2024

This collection contains text documents, images, vector graphics (CAD), and site records from archaeological monitoring and recording undertaken by Colchester Archaeological Trust at Southchurch Hall Gardens, Park Lane, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, between 4 and 7 November 2024. Monitoring took place during groundworks for the replacement of a defunct water pipe. Southchurch Hall, a Scheduled Ancient Monument with origins in the 13th century, lies within the project area. No significant archaeological remains were encountered, with only modern layers recorded during the works.
