Myus (Turkey), temple areaFrom the division of finds 1909; marble, around 530 BC The headless young man is wearing a short-sleeved, long chiton and a cloak pinned over his left shoulder. On his back one can see the rest of his hair falling widely in pearl strings. Male robed statues were particularly found in Ionia. Their movement motif corresponds with the Kouroi. This object is part of Scan The World.
