Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey at Courtwell House, Coffinswell, Devon, January 2022

This collection consists of site photographs, geophysical data and georectified geophysical images from a magnetometry survey carried out by Archaeology England Ltd. in January 2022 on land to the east of Court Barton Farm and near Courtwell House, in Coffinswell, Devon. A desk based assessment has previously been prepared in advance of the submission of detailed proposals for the new 21MW Solar Farm and associated infrastructure. The geophysical survey took place on 25 hectares of land at the site, in January 2022. Several features of probable archaeological origin were identified. Namely, a possible late prehistoric small bivallate enclosure, linear features, field systems and a ring ditch.
