This dataset contains research data (spectra) obtained using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Raman spectroscopy (RS), atomic force microscopy coupled with infrared spectroscopy (AFM-IR), optical photothermal infrared spectroscopy (O-PTIR), as well as cell viability testing (MTS assay). The study involved non-cancerous cells (fibroblasts) and cancerous cells (LN-229, glioblastoma), which were treated with various concentrations of fluorescently labeled polystyrene nanoparticles (PS-NPs). The collected data were processed and analyzed, and the results were used to prepare the manuscript entitled “Photothermal infrared imaging of nanoplastics in human cells with nanoscale resolution”, which has been submitted to ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.
