资源简介:
This dataset supports the study of seasonal coastal hypoxia and sulfurization-driven organic carbon preservation in the East China Sea inner shelf. It contains depth-resolved measurements from sediment cores collected in 2017, including total organic carbon (TOC), organic sulfur (OS), pyrite sulfur (Spy), sulfur-to-carbon ratio (S:C), δ13C of TOC, δ34S of organic sulfur, δ34S of pyrite sulfur, and BHT-x ratio. These data were generated to evaluate whether water-column oxygen depletion promotes sulfur incorporation into organic matter and enhances sedimentary carbon preservation. The dataset can be used for reproducibility of the associated manuscript, comparative studies of coastal hypoxia, sulfur cycling, early diagenesis, and marine carbon burial.Files include raw data, processed plotting data, variable definitions, and readme documentation.
