Dataset on ambiguity attitudes in decision-making under risk and ambiguity

This repository contains the dataset accompanying the article "Dataset on Decision-Making under Risk and Ambiguity".

The dataset was collected in a series of experimental sessions studying human decision-making under ambiguity using urn-based lottery tasks. Participants reported their willingness-to-pay (WTP) to participate inlotteries with partially unknown probability structures. 

The repository contains two datasets corresponding to two experimental implementations:

• ambiguity-experiments-I.xlsx – laboratory experiment dataset  • ambiguity-experiments-II.xlsx – online experiment dataset (performed during COVID-19 restrictions) 

Each dataset includes information about participants, decision tasks, reported willingness-to-pay values, and realized lottery outcomes.

The file codebook.pdf describes all variables and the structure of the dataset.

The archive experimental_materials.zip contains the original experimental materials used in the study, including participant instructions, HTML task pages of the experimental interface, and graphical materials used in the urn-based decision tasks.

These materials allow replication of the experimental setup and further analysis of decision-making behavior under ambiguity.
