This dataset contains Table 3.3 of the PhD (Candidate of Sciences) thesis of L. M. Karpuk: "Physical and mechanical properties of polished sugar beet seed, fraction over 5.0 mm before polishing (mean of three trials, 2005–2006; polishing machine Jet Peeler)". Experiment: Experiment 1 – effect of polishing on germination intensity, germination and physical-mechanical properties of factory sugar beet seed. Treatments: polishing machine load (very light, light, medium – shutter position) and current frequency (35–50 Hz); control – unpolished seed sampled before each mode. Vorskla seed plant (Trostianets) and Institute of Sugar Beet, 2005–2006.
