This series consists of a volume index to provide access to Case Books of Male Patients (VPRS 7395). The index lists the names of male patients, in alphabetical order by surname, admitted to Beechworth Asylum (1867-1905) and Beechworth Hospital for the Insane (1905-1912) (VA 2842). The Index details patient name and date(s) of admission.Please note it is unclear how this series relates to VPRS 18130 Indexes to Case Books and Clinical Notes and why there appears to have been two indexes operating at the same time.
