Photobacterium angustum S14. This strain was isolated from Botany Bay near Sydney, Australia, from surface waters. It is being studied for starvation adaptation and the microbe forms resting-stage cells during nutrient depletion and extracellular molecules appear to play a role in cell signalling during this process.
