Corchorus olitorius cultivar:O-4 Genome sequencing and assembly

Jute (Corchorus sp.) is one of the most important natural fiber crop and second largest source of foreign exchange earner in Bangladesh. Corchorus capsularis L. and Corchorus olitorius L are economically important species from the genus Corchorus are cultivated. A single jute plant, “variety O-4” for C. olitorius was used for genome and transcriptome sequencing.
