Long-term field data and metadata from_Estonia_ID_16_2024yr

The long-term field experiment in this area was started in 2003 with one type of crop rotation with five crops on five separate field. In 2020 the experiment was modified and now this experimental area includes the following exsperimental factors: 1. crop rotation type: (a) rotation with cereals (winter wheat-spring wheat-spring oat-sping barley; (b) rotation with cereals and cover crops (winter wheat-spring wheat-spring oat- field pea; cover crops  are sown after harvesting winter and spring wheat); 2. cultivation method: (a) organic farming without fertilizeing; (b) conventional farming with mineral fertilizer application. Soil tillage method is disking (5-10 cm) and ploughing combination. The crops locate in four rotation field. Each field has 72 experimental plots (288 plots in total). The size of the plot is 50 m2.The size of each field is 0.36 ha (the whole area is 1.44 ha). 18 treatments (variants) are formed by combining the experimental factors. Data is collected in three fields, three replicates per treatment/factor.
