National meteorological observation stations

Meteorological stations are a point shp file summarising all the basic and additional national meteorological stations where actual meteorological observations take place. The point location of the stations shall correspond to the centre of the observation area of each station. The file also includes meteorological radar information equipped with the meteorological Doppler radar “METEOR 500C”, which measures the rainfall intensity. The location of the meteorological radar shall be N:56,914275; E: 23,989783. The file is maintained in accordance with the Environmental Monitoring Programme for 2015-2020, based on the Environmental Policy Guidelines 2014-2020, approved by Cabinet Order No 130 of 26 March 2014 on Environmental Policy Guidelines 2014-2020.
