This article, published in Photographic Business and Product News, describes the concepts and theories that Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Weston, Ansel Adams and Minor White had on experiencing the photograph. It was gathered from research on these photographers--particularly from my thesis: Similarities and Differences in the Aesthetic Theories of Stieglitz, Weston, Adams and White--which was written for my M.A. degree at American University (1970).
