资源简介:
The phenomenon of linguistic borrowing is a pivotal aspect of language evolution, particularly in the context of the pervasive influence of English on global languages. This research provides an in-depth analysis of English loanwords, commonly referred to as "anglicisms," within the contemporary French linguistic system. The study explores the multi-faceted nature of this integration, examining phonetic adjustments, morphological adaptations, and semantic shifts. Furthermore, it delves into the sociolinguistic motivations behind borrowing and the institutional responses from bodies such as the Académie Française. By analyzing diverse sectors including technology, fashion, business, and daily communication, this article demonstrates that while French maintains its structural integrity, it continuously evolves through the strategic absorption of English lexicon.
