Step-wise impacts of imidazolium- and pyridinium-based ionic liquids on the reproductive procedure of Caenorhabditis elegans

Effects of ionic liquids (ILs) on intricate processes of reproduction, including sperm-oocyte interactions, had not been fully investigated. In the present study, 5 ILs influenced different reproductive procedures of Caenorhabditis elegans.
