资源简介:

This study evaluated the impact of digital nudges on gym attendance and explored how self-reported exercise self-efficacy, exercise habit strength, and exercise adherence influence the frequency of gym visits among new members. These factors may even help predict members' ability to maintain regular physical activity in the gym. This research is innovative for several reasons: first, it practically applies nudge theory to new gym members a group known from the literature to be at high risk of early dropout. Second, it emphasizes the importance of self-reports and long-term monitoring for understanding gym adherence. Third, it is the first study to explore these issues among gym users in Israel, offering new insights into physical activity behavior in this population.
