Quinoline Alkaloid Derivatives Database

Quinoline alkaloid refers to a class of alkaloids containing quinoline rings in their structure, mainly distributed in rutaceae and rubiaceae plants. The quinoline alkaloids extracted from plants have played a great role in the history of medicine. Cancer is a disease caused by excessive proliferation due to the loss of normal regulation of the body cells, which is still a great threat to human health. Due to the rational design and advanced synthesis of quinoline derivatives, they have been widely used in pharmaceutical chemistry, especially in the development of anticancer drugs or drug candidates. Quinoline derivatives can play a role in the treatment of cancer by blocking cell cycle, inducing cell apoptosis, inhibiting blood vessel growth, preventing cell migration, activating immune response and other different mechanisms. Based on the newly synthesized quinoline alkaloid derivatives and cancer cytotoxicity test data, the database of quinoline alkaloid derivatives is constructed to assist the discovery and retrieval of quinoline cancer therapeutic drugs. A total of 437 compounds are included in the database, including compound name, structure, basic physicochemical properties, active cells, cytotoxicity data IC50, corresponding references and links, and patent information, aiming to provide reference and research basis for the development of quinoline alkaloid derivatives of anticancer drugs, and reduce research costs.
