The database shows the postcode areas of Berlin. The geometries are created from the postal code of Deutsche Post for each Berlin address and at the same time digitised using the corresponding land boundaries from the map of Berlin 1:5000 (K5). Large-scale decision-free spaces remain in areas without addresses (forests, green spaces, etc.).
