Cyber regulation in Vietnam

The thesis studies the ways in which cyberspace in Vietnam is regulated. Specifically, it asks different social groups with about their preferences regarding cyber regulation. Three types of data including interviews, social media content, and official documents were used to analyse the social groups and their preferences. The thesis found that the state group has and will continue to command and control the regulation of cyberspace in Vietnam. However, the state group has and will likely to incorporate the preferences of deregulation and coregulation preferred by two non-state groups.
