The objectives of this study were to 1) rely on mRNA-sequencing to identify pathways before and after cardiac looping (30 and 48 hpf, respectively) that may be impacted following exposure to 10 µM TPHP from 24-48 hpf and 2) determine whether pre-treatment with 2 µM fenretinide from 24-30 hpf mitigates cardiotoxicity-related pathways within embryos exposed to TPHP from 30-48 hpf.
