Meteorological data from Rio Mayo, Province of Chubut, Argentina. Rio
Mayo is located at 45 41S and 70 16W and an elevation of
500m. Climatic data is organized daily and bi-hourly. Daily values are
global radiation (kw per square meter), precipitation (mm per day),
maximum temperature (C degree), hour of maximum temperature (hh:mm),
minimum temperature (C degree) , hour of minimum temperature (hh:mm),
and average wind speed (km per hour). Bi-hourly values are wind speed
(km per hour), temperature (C degree), relative humidity (percentage),
wind direction (degree, 0 correspond to N, 90 correspond to E,
180correspond to S, and 270 correspond to W), radiation (kw per square
meter). These data were obtained for project CRN12 (The Role of
Biodiversity and Climate in the Functioning of Ecosystems: A
Comparative Study or Grasslands, Savannas, and Forests), wich has
Dr. Osvaldo E. Sala as PI.
