To assess the therapeutic effect of mitochondria isolated form BMSCs on retinal degeneration dieaseas, the mitochondria was transplanted into the subretinal space of RCS rats 3 weeks after birth at initial stage of degenerative process, with the same volume PBS as the control.To elucidate the process by which BMSCs-mito protects Muller cells and degenerative retinas, we performed RNA sequence of the retinas 4 weeks after mitochondria transplantation.
