Endomicrobiome of Suaeda. endomicrobiome analysis

Medicinal plants are increasingly been recognized to host rare actinobacteria. The Suaeda monoica Forssk. ex J.F. Gmel, a halophytic medicinal plant of Indian Sundarbans was recently reported to produce pharmaceutically important metabolites. The foremost objectives of the present study are intended to explore the community structure with a special interest in evaluating actinobacterial population and the biosynthetic gene clusters that are involved in the production of bioactive secondary metabolites from the microbiomes of the nonrhizosphere, rhizosphere and endosphere of this medicinal mangrove.
