Total number of charging points

This dataset presents the total number of charging points in the whole of France. Charging points are materialised by a socket base on which an electric vehicle can potentially connect. A charging station may have one or more charging points. The data presented divides the load points into three typologies: * The charging points “open to the public” correspond to the charging points accessible in shops (supermarket, car dealership...), parking, public sites or road stations. * “individual” charging points are private charging points located in the collective residential (buildings, condominiums...) or individual (pavillons). * “company” charging points are private charging points located in companies and reserved for the company’s activity or for the charging of employees’ electric vehicles. The dataset was developed by Enedis based on its own data combined with certain external data, from the companies Girève and AAA Data. The data on the “individual” and “society” load points are a reconstruction of the existing built by Enedis on the basis of assumptions. These assumptions are based on the evolution of the electric vehicle market. The data, whose geographical scope covers the whole of France, is published in the national grid.
