RNA-sequencing comparison of murine cardiac endothelials from ketogenic and control diet mice

RNA-sequencing was used to compare the transcriptome in cardiac endothelial cells from mice fed a ketogenic diet or control diet. Week 8 wild type C57BL/6J mice were randomly assigned to control diet (11.6 kcal % fat) or the ketogenic diet (89.5 kcal% fat) groups. Mice were kept on either diet with ad libitum access to food and drinking water until the end of the experiment. Endothelial cells (CD31+ cells) were isolated from heart tissue of mice.
