Establishment of a feral predator-free area at Astrebla Downs National Park

The project will deliver a predator proof fence and ongoing predator control at the Queensalnd reserve Astrebla Downs to reduce key threats associated with cat predation for four EPBC species: Greater Bilby (Macrotis lagotis): Kowari (Dasyuroides byrnie), Plains Mouse (Pseudomys australis); and the Plains Wanderer (Pedionomus torquatus). The Plains Mouse (Pseudomys australis) is currently locally extinct at Astrebla National Park and will be reintroduced as part of this project.
