Profile descriptions of soil science

The soil profiles are recorded as part of the state reception and in project mappings. They are stored in the profile database of the NIBIS. The profiles contain detailed information on the structure of the soil. The profiles contain detailed information on the location and layer structure of the soil. Their detailed information can be retrieved by clicking on the link “further information”. As a textual description, data on the depth of layers and horizons and stratigraphy and petrography are given. The scale of the profile representation is variable. A selection of the most important master data is compiled on the first sheet of the profile presentation.
