Port_Traffic_Morocco_2022_2023

This dataset provides a detailed overview of commercial port traffic in Morocco for the years 2022 and 2023, compiled from official publications of the Agence Nationale des Ports (ANP). It covers key indicators of maritime activity across Moroccan commercial ports, including total cargo throughput, container traffic, liquid and solid bulk, hydrocarbons, cereals, phosphates and related products, and other major categories of merchandise. The dataset was constructed to support empirical research in maritime economics, transport and logistics, regional development, and international trade. Despite its short time coverage, it allows for comparative analysis between consecutive years, assessment of recent structural changes in port activity, and short-term performance evaluation of Moroccan ports. The dataset is suitable for academic research, policy analysis, sectoral diagnostics, and descriptive or comparative studies at national and port levels.
