Cash declared at the border

When entering or leaving the Republic of Latvia on the external border of the European Union, natural persons are obliged to declare cash funds if their amount is EUR 10 000 or more. This provision has been in force since 1 July 2006. This file contains information from cash declarations submitted at customs control points and border crossing points of the Republic of Latvia at the external border of the European Union for the period from the beginning of the previous two years until the end of the last full month. The file contains information on the number of cash declarations submitted and the total amount of cash declared (in euro) by transport routes, years, months, type of declaration, transport modes, customs control points, border crossing points.当自然人在欧盟外部边境进出拉脱维亚共和国时，若携带现金金额达到或超过10000欧元，需主动申报现金款项。本规定自2006年7月1日起正式施行。 本数据集文件涵盖了欧盟外部边境拉脱维亚共和国海关管控点与边境过境点所接收的现金申报信息，统计周期为前两年年初至最近一个完整自然月的月末。 本文件包含按运输路线、年度、月度、申报类型、运输方式、海关管控点以及边境过境点分类的现金申报单数与申报现金总金额（单位：欧元）相关信息。
