City Plan 2014 — Transport noise corridor overlay

Brisbane City Plan 2014 is Brisbane City Council's plan for the future development of Brisbane. Brisbane City Plan 2014 is regularly updated with new or amended information. This feature class is shown on the Transport noise corridor overlay map (map reference: OM-020.3, OM-020.4 and OM-020.5). (a) This feature class includes the following sub-categories: (i) Queensland Development Code MP4.4 Noise: Sub-category 1; (ii) Queensland Development Code MP4.4 Noise: Sub-category 2; (iii) Queensland Development Code MP4.4 Noise: Sub-category 3; (iv) Queensland Development Code MP4.4 Noise: Sub-category 4. (b) State designated noise corridor - State-controlled road (mandatory area): (i) Category O: Noise Level < 58 dB(A); (ii) Category 1: 58 dB(A) -63 dB(A); (iii) Category 2: 63 dB(A) -68 dB(A); (iv) Category 3: 68 dB(A) - 73 dB(A); (v) Category 4: Noise Level > 73 dB(A). (c)State designated noise corridor - State-controlled road (voluntary area): (i) Category O: Noise Level < 58 dB(A); (ii) Category 1: 58 dB(A) - 63 dR(A); (iii) Category 2: 63 dB(A) - 68 dB(A); (iv) Category 3: 68 dB(A) - 73 dB(A); (v) Category 4: Noise Level> 73 dB(A). (d) State designated noise corridor - rail network: (i) Category O: Noise Level < 70dB(A); (ii) Category 1: 70 dB(A) -75 dB(A); (iii) Category 2: 75 dB(A) -80 dB(A); (iv) Category 3: 80 dB(A) —85 dB(A); (v) Category 4: Noise Level > 85 dB(A).
