Canadian Gallup Poll, April 1997

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions of the past election, respect for institutions, and sports. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as approval of Jean Chretien, smoking and drinking habits, and who would make the best Prime Minister. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables.
