The Sector Inquiry was initiated in the beginning of 20042. The aim of the Sector Inquiry was to allow the European Commission and the EFTA Surveillance Authority to develop a thorough sectoral knowledge, enabling them to identify problems and behaviours common to the various, largely national, retail markets of mobile services in a systematic manner.
