Numerical Investigation on the Hydrodynamics and Turbulent Flow Structures of Gravity Current over Ripples [Dataset]

This dataset studies the flow structures, mixing efficiency, energy budget and shear stress of gravity currents propagating over ripples by conducting numerical simulations using ANSYS Fluent. The numerical model is rigorously validated by Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). All physical quantities are stored separately in the file, including all cases that is shown in "parameter_set".
