MacArthur and President Quezon out of Phils. in PT boat and later at Torpedo Boat commander in Southwest Pacific shown in bridge chair. No. 11: First thing Capt. John D. Bulkeley did after ship O'Brien was secured was to telephone his wife Alice in Washington. He used bridge phone connected to shore line.
