To understand how AXL overexpression induces aggregation of prostate cancer cells, microarray analysis from prostate cancer cell lines was used to observe differences in gene expression of cells with high versus low aggregation potential upon AXL overexpression. Overall design: C42B Tetracycline-On cells (Tet-Axl 1 and Tet-Axl 2) were cultured with doxycycline for 4 days, and then RNA was extracted and submitted for microarray analysis.
