Data from 15N labeleld slurry tracing experiment on steel soil cores (17cm diameter, 25cm depth) originating from the Esterberg site, translocated to EB,GW and FE. 15 N tracer was applied on grassland soils in pre-Alpine / Alpine to quantify the recovery of N in plants and roots. The experiment was designed to increase the understanding of nitrogen use efficiency in pre-Alpine / Alpine grassland soils as subject to agricultural management and climate change.
