Soldier Beetle and Jewel Beetle (Coleoptera; Cantharoidea and Buprestoidea) records for Britain and Ireland to 2000

This dataset includes records of Cantharidae (soldier beetles), Buprestidae (jewel beetles), Lampyridae (glow worms), Lycidae (net-winged beetles) and Drilidae. It originates from the <a href="http://www.brc.ac.uk/scheme_details.asp?schemeChoice=5
" target="_blank"> Cantharoidea and Buprestoidea Recording Scheme
</a>
that was started in 1984. Much of the data in this dataset was derived electronically from certain local records centres, having been collected by volunteers. Recording is still continuing although no new publications are expected at present.
