[FLUTE] Prostate Cancer Use Case

The dataset refers to a retrospective cohort of 285 patients with suspected prostate cancer who underwent prostate MRI followed by biopsy within 365 days. It integrates real-world data, including age at biopsy, family history of prostate cancer, targeted biopsy status, digital rectal examination, serum PSA, prostate volume, PI-RADS category and clinically significant prostate cancer outcome. Categorical variables were revised and encoded numerically, and dataset headers were standardized to improve consistency, interoperability and reuse. As it is based on retrospective real-world data, completeness may vary across variables, with some missing or partially recorded information reflecting routine clinical practice, reporting heterogeneity and data availability. The clinical dataset is linked to the corresponding prostate MRI dataset acquired before biopsy. The dataset has been used within the framework of the European FLUTE project as a clinical use case to support privacy-preserving, federated and multi-party data analysis workflows for prostate cancer diagnosis and clinically significant prostate cancer prediction.
