User Experience Analysis on the Telkom Schools Website Using the Heuristic Evaluation Method

User experience plays a vital role in the advancement of websites for educational institutions, including the Telkom Schools platform. This research utilizes the Heuristic Evaluation approach, which incorporates Jakob Nielsen's ten usability principles, to assess both the user interface and overall user experience of the site. Data were gathered via a questionnaire distributed to 100 participants, consisting of 35 statement items that align with heuristic evaluation criteria. The analysis employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4 software to examine the validity and reliability of construct variables as well as the interrelationships among heuristic principles. The results highlight several usability elements that need improvement, such as visibility of system status, design consistency, user autonomy, and visual appeal. This study contributes actionable insights for refining the interface and improving user satisfaction, while also aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 by promoting inclusive, high-quality education through digital platform enhancement.
