Dance Therapy for Parkinson's Disease: Meta-Analysis and Reproducible R Scripts (RCTs and Pilot RCTs Dataset)

This dataset accompanies the manuscript “Dance Therapy for Parkinson’s Disease: Systematic Review, Meta-Analysis, and Recommendations” (submitted to Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy, 2025). It includes all cleaned data tables and reproducible R scripts used to perform pooled analyses of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and pilot RCTs evaluating dance therapy in Parkinson’s disease.

The dataset covers multiple clinical domains—motor, non-motor, adherence, and safety—and provides outputs for every meta-analytic model reported in the paper, including forest, funnel, Baujat, and leave-one-out plots, along with summary and diagnostic tables.

All results were generated using random-effects models (REML with Knapp–Hartung correction) in R (version ≥4.3), with complete reproducibility ensured through standardized pipelines. The dataset is fully FAIR-compliant and directly reproduces all pooled estimates, heterogeneity indices, and publication-bias diagnostics cited in the manuscript.
