Data and scripts to reproduce the figures of "Enhanced Land-Surface Processes Sustain Evapotranspiration and Improve Tropical Climate Variability in a Coupled Earth System Model"

Everything needed to redraw the figures of manuscript 2026JD047646 (JGR: Atmospheres) and its Supporting Information: monthly output of the two 130-year IITM-DCPS integrations that differ only in the land surface model (CNTL: Noah 2.7.1; EXP: Noah-MP), the processed observations the figures compare against (ERA5, 20CRv3, GLDAS-2.0, GPCP v2.3, COBE-SST2), masks, derived fields, regression fields and the plotting scripts. Download all files into one folder, unzip the scripts archive, run setup_paths.sh to set the paths and make_figures.sh to draw the figures and compare them with the published images. The NetCDF files are losslessly compressed. Figures S12 and S14 have no scripts, and the three-dimensional wind fields regressed for Figures 8 and S13 are represented by their regression fields.
