ddRADseq of Rhizophagus irregularis isolates and offspring

Various single spore Rhizophagus irregularis isolates originating from the field were crossed to see whether genetic exchange is made between two individuals. Additionally, single spore cultures were generated to see how allele frequencies of asexual progeny might differ than that of their original parent. In silico crosses from pure isolates were made by combining ddRADseq data and used to compare with progeny isolated from potential crosses to see if genetic exchange indeed occurs during anastomosis.
